 My
name is Cecilia Ruiz de Gamboa, otherwise known as Ceci. I have worked
with Dr. Weinreb for nearly 7 years as the Administrative Manager and Gaucher
Disease Fund Specialist for the University Regional Gaucher Treatment Center.
I am responsible for running the front and check out desks and the medical
records department. I am in charge of all of the Gaucher patient financial
records.
I am originally from Santiago, Chile. My husband, Martin, and I have three children: two sons, Matias, 18, Tomas, 15, and our little princess, Andrea, 12. Our household also includes Gaucho the dog, Munchkin, the guinea pig, two tortoises, and a four-foot python snake. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian. I used to swim and run track competitively, and I continue to enjoy water sports. My latest hobby is para-sailing. I love the feeling of flying through the air and being high up in the sky.
